Presenting Two Key Ingredients to What You’ll Get from Working with Me!
Authenticity
Not false or copied; genuine; real. While a dictionary can provide an adequate definition of what it is to be authentic, only we, as individuals, have an incline of what it means to us. The recent movement in our society toward authenticity has stemmed from a need to move away from societal norms, and toward creating our own lives – each of us for our selves. But we can only do that if we understand where and how we stand in every situation, at all times. Authenticity is our wholeness expressed. It is what happens when we let go of all attachments to what we think others want from us, and express our true selves in the way that feels best for us.
I believe that we are all on this planet to experience everything it means to live in the highest versions of ourselves. AUTHENTICITY IS JUST THAT.
Authenticity is an art. It does not mean forgoing responsibility, or ignoring the needs of others — instead, it means finding a way to navigate life so that you are able to fulfill both while still being true to yourself. It is a way of being that must be honed, and worked on throughout life. Since we are dynamic beings, what is authentic to us changes constantly. Once we find a way to become truly authentic in the present, staying there does get easier. But it requires checking in with ourselves, to ensure that we remain on the path that is true to who we are. This is why, through coaching, workshops, and programs, I provide ongoing support to those who wish to explore their authenticity in any setting of life – professional situations, relationships, every day life, and so on. Doing so provides each of us with a feeling of being complete, whole, in every situation.
Emotions
Contentment, guilt, joy, anger, frustration, grief, enthusiasm. We are always feeling something – at all times, no matter what. I believe that all emotions are gifts we are given to clue us in to some important factors that need our attention.
-
What do I need?
-
What do I desire?
-
What is, and is not real here?
-
Where am I being asked to look at my own behaviors?
-
What can I take responsibility for? What can I change?
With the right tools and a lot of self understanding, it IS possible to become masters at utilizing our emotions as the gifts they were meant to be. In truth, our feelings are pretty awesome! They exist to tell us what the deepest parts of ourselves need, so that we can ultimately create the lives we want. They exist to tell us where we our needs are unfulfilled, so that we may make requests of others; and more importantly, to tell us where we can shift to take further responsibility for our own lives. AND, when we’re really experiencing life fully, they exist to give us accolades, pat us on the back, and remind us of just how far we’ve come.
